Qualifying garage doors offer homeowners energy savings, tax credit and style
Replacing a garage door in 2009 and 2010 can do more than generate curb appeal; it also can decrease energy costs and save homeowners up to $1500 off the bottom line of their income taxes.
Thanks to the new 2009 stimulus legislation signed by President Obama on Feb. 17, 2009, U.S. homeowners can earn up to a $1500 tax credit for buying qualifying insulated garage doors.
